The Franklin College of Arts & Sciences Cultural & Academic Events Program offers Franklin College students the opportunity to broaden their horizons and earn early registration. The intent of the program is to encourage students to choose from a wide variety of University-sponsored events which will enhance and enrich their college and life experiences. Students who attend ten approved events and submit response journal entries about those events are allowed to register early for the following term.
**Spring 2014 Early Registration Update**
Due to the intricacies of the university-wide Banner implementation, early registration privileges allowing students to register for classes scheduled during the Fall 2014 academic semester will NOT be available to students who complete the program requirements this Spring. For those students who wish to continue the program this semester, we will be awarding early registration privileges allowing students to register for UGA classes scheduled during the Summer 2014 academic semester. In order to receive early registration privileges for Summer 2014 course scheduling, please follow the deadlines found on the CAEP Homepage. We are currently investigating other possible incentives for students who complete the program this term.
Early Registration Deadline Information
Early Registration for the Spring 2014 semester will begin on April 7, 2014 at 8 AM. In order to register at 8 AM on April 7, 2014, all participants MUST have successfully completed all program requirements by March 26, 2014 at 5 PM. This includes the completion of the program contract and response journals, which must be submitted and processed before early registration will be awarded. Therefore, we highly encourage you to start early and finish early to take advantage of the full benefits of the program with little hindrances. Any participants who don't meet the initial deadlines set will have until April 2nd to complete the program and receive early registration privileges accordingly. **Please note we are awarding early registration for Summer 2014 classes ONLY.**
